writing workshop with the kids july 11th, 2008
we all sat outside and did drama games and acted and made noises together. we then wrote.
here is what we all wrote
abigal smiklel: i am abigal smikle, i am 13 years, i am in grade 7, i am a jamaican, i am a sunshine, i am female, i am a apple, i am a dog, i am a fish, i am a bird, i am a colour red, i am a river running. i am not a person, i am not a girl, i am not a foolish person, i am not a fish.
junior barrettf: i am jamaican, i am living with my mother, i am 9 years old, i am in palmers cross, i am angry, i am a boy, i am the colour yellow, i am an orange, i am a salt water, i am a chair, i am a car, i am a spoon, i am a star, i am a triangle, i am a pencil. i am not a car, i am not a salt water, i am not an orange, i am not a spoon, i am not a pencil.
winnie soyicaasutin: i am a girl, i am 14 years old, i am a jamaican, i am going away, i am pretty, i am a dog, i am a man, i am mango, i am moonlight, i am not a man, i am not a dog, i am not mangos, i am not a school, i am not a water.
tanisha smikle: i am 11 years old, i am living in jamaica, i am a big girl, i am in grade 6, i am a c , i am an apple, i am a sleep, i am a intelligent, i am a important girl. i am not a cow, i am not a chair, i am not a house, i am not a tree, i am not a goat, i am not a foolish girl.
shontae clark: i am a girl, i am ten years old, i am a female, i am with my mother, i am kind. i am a cat running, i am an icecream in a bowl, i am colourful like a rainbow, i am bright like the sun. i am a bird that live in a tree.

i am a raincloud person (moody at times), i am a shining bulb (polite in class). i am a genius (try to figure things out) i am a cat walker (silent walker). i am not an animal, i am not a bad person, i am not a dog, i am not a plant, i am not an agressive person.
