Second Life at The Container

We have started working in Second Life here. It has been a bit slow because connectivity is slow. I believe we have a 1 MByte connection. We are trying to get an upgrade which will help. Anyone who uses Second Life knows it requires bandwidth and computer power. Both of which we could use more of here. Despite the limitations we are moving forward. There are 5 to 7 of people each day here. So far we all have made an avatar and have started building some simple structures. Ian Murray (Ian Ah in SL) has been really helpful in letting us use his sandbox on Odyssey Island. Eventually we hope to move to another space that is being created by OCAD. Thanks to OCAD for helping us with the land. As we move along I'll post pictures of what we are building. Eventually we will be building a container with screens to showcase the stories and music of the area. More Later..
